SATS 2005

The SATS Demonstration in Danville, VA this week was an amazing opportunity to witness the integration of the latest technologies that will be integrated into our cockpits. Each of the individual SATS labs has independently determined that FLIR images need to be an important piece of these panels and three of these labs have determined that the Forward. Vision. imaging system represents the level of technology needed for effective utilization by general aviation.  This military derived technology is the only commercially available FLIR system that does not "bloom" in the presence of a large heat source and does not damage the sensor when in the presence of sunlight. The Forward. Vision. team is proud to be a part of the future with the NASA SATS program.
