FORWARD. VISION.® OFFERS ENHANCED VISION INCENTIVE FOR CIRRUS OWNERS

Company Wants You To "SEE WHAT YOU'VE BEEN MISSING"

Russell, PA  (February 18, 2009)  Forward Vision Systems, Inc. industry leader in the integration of affordable Enhanced Vision Technology (EVS), today announced an incentive for owners and pilots of the popular Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft to purchase of the Company's EVS-100 STC package.   The package includes both camera and in-cockpit display, is ready to mount, and is upgradeable.

Until recently, the only way to buy an EVS system for a Cirrus was as an option on the new Cirrus Perspective™ (CP) Forward. Vision.'s CEO, Patrick Farrell, is pleased to offer the same safety opportunity to all Cirrus owners that the CP customers enjoy.  "We are excited with the enthusiasm we have received for this technology, yet we are acutely aware pilots and aircraft owners are also looking at their bottom lines.  So we are offering the already cost efficient EVS-100 STC package, with display, to Cirrus owners and pilots with an instant savings of up to $1000 USD, starting immediately and effective though March 15, 2009."

Alan Klapmeier, Cirrus Chairman and co-founder, is strident about safety in aviation. "At Cirrus we not only talk about safety, but we constantly seek technology that enhances safety for Cirrus owners and pilots. Enhanced Vision means enhanced safety", stated Klapmeier.

Not to be confused with a computer generated, database "synthetic vision" system, the Forward. Vision. EVS-100 provides a "real-time" real image of what is front of the airplane.  The EVS 100 thermal imaging camera's "enhanced vision" helps pilots avoid potential conflicts by clearly identifying unlit aircraft, vehicles, pedestrians and animals on runways and taxiways while operating at night or in haze and other low-visibility conditions.  Even on a moonless night, clouds, lakes, trees, power lines and fields can be identified while on approach or departure, greatly enhancing operational safety during the critical phases of flight.
