(Forward Looking Infrared) Camera System for
General Aviation
Merritt Island, Florida- June 2, 2005-
Forward.Vision., announces that · Forward. Vision. has
been invited to participate as part of the
NASA SATS 2005 event in Danville, VA June
5th-7th. The Forward. Vision. infrared
camera system has been integrated into the
Virginia SATS team avionics panel and will
be featured in the SATS Pavillion. Infrared
imaging such as Forward. Vision. is becoming
an integral part of the panels of today and
tomorrow. Forward. Vision. is proud to be
involved with a project such as this that is
designed to enhance the utility and safety
of aviation. The Forward. Vision. booth will
also be at the event and will feature a
working system as well as a video of the
system during some of it's test flights. If
you are in Danville, we invite you to stop
by and visit with us. Designed to
demonstrate the capabilities of the Small
Aircraft Transportation System (SATS)
project, the SATS 2005 event will showcase
technologies designed to make small aircraft
and airports more accessible to more people.
It is the culmination of a five-year,
public-private Partnership including NASA,
FAA and the National Consortium for Aviation
Mobility (NCAM).
